A Foolhardy Trip to Korea

Two weeks ago my wife and I visited Korea and we were all at sixes and sevens about what to do in this trip. We flattered ourselves that we could meditate a perfect trip abroad but we got the opposite of what we wanted. We have learned our lesson and won't visit a foreign country under preparation again.
Next year we want to take a trip to the Philippines because it is the most fantastic country in Asia. I saw a copy of 1000 Places to See Before You Die. I acquired some knowledge in this book and knew Banaue's rice terraces, Taal Volcano, Amanpulo are good places to visit. Also in Chinese wiki Philippines is a country famous for its tourism. Like Tubbataha Reef Natural Park, Baroque Churches of the Philippines, Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, Historic Town of Vigan are important world heritage sites to my planning trip. Great, there are too many scenic spots to go.

Adam Shepard’s new book, One Year Lived, is coming out on April 22nd. The book is the narrative of his one year trip around the world. He mustered cattle. He volunteered with children. He went scuba diving. He grew a mullet. He fought bulls. He made love on a beach, Etcetera.
I took notice of his Philippines section. He said,” I saved money in inexpensive countries (Honduras), and let my bank account loose in more expensive ones (New Zealand). Japan is pricey, as are Singapore, Taiwan, Norway, England, Australia, and many other countries, so one either figures out how to travel there creatively or dodges them altogether. Forget Switzerland until your rich aunt dies.” I can not agree to his statement because Taiwan is not pricey. But the Philippines is really an inexpensive country and he gives me more instructions of processing the next year planning trip.
You can buy ONE YEAR LIVED on Amazon.
Oh, and, Adam has agreed to provide the ebook for free to my readers! If you want to have this copy, you can write comments on this post or reposts the article on Facebook or Twitter and then type out an e-mail to remind me. You have 48 hours to do. My e-mail is 2notebook at yahoo.com.tw.

  1. I have heard from ex-patriots of the Philippines, how heart-breakingly beautiful the country is, and from their pictures, I believe them!
