Japanese budget airline to launch Kaohsiung-Tokyo flights

I am glad to hear the news. Japanese travelers will happy to Kaohsiung, Taiwan and it'll be great fun for me to travel in Japan again.

Taipei, Sept. 10 (CNA) Japanese low-cost carrier Vanilla Air said Wednesday it will offer a new service between Tokyo and the southern Taiwan city of Kaohsiung from next February, as it continues to explore the budget airline market in Taiwan.

Starting Feb. 1, Vanilla Air will operate daily round-trip flights, departing from Kaohsiung at 4 p.m. and arriving in Tokyo at 8:25 p.m.

On the return leg, the flight will take off from Tokyo at 11:45 a.m. and land in Kaohsiung at 3:20 p.m., the airline said.

Vanilla Air yesterday (11SEP14) opens reservation for planned service launch on Tokyo Narita – Kaohsiung service.
