On 12 March, 2011 I visited National Palace Museum for some reason. This was the second time I visited the museum. It's many years since I looked round it for the first time. The mainland tourists occupied National Palace Museum, same as anywhere else in Taiwan. From my point of view, National Palace Museum is really a great museum because of treasures of the Forbidden City. The Best of the Best at the National Palace Museum Plus a "Once in a Lifetime Chance" Writing about Taiwan's National Palace Museum (NPM) is, perhaps, the "coals-to-Newcastle" equivalent of travel writing.

The National Palace Museum (traditional Chinese: 國立故宮博物院; simplified Chinese: 国立故宫博物院; pinyin: Guólì Gùgōng Bówùyuàn) is an antique museum in Shilin, Taipei, Republic of China. The Lonely Planet said"This museum is home to what could quite easily be termed the world's largest and finest collection of Chinese art; it is unfortunate that the overall interior setup of the museum does not match with the grandeur of the collection. Its renovation, ongoing for several years, was pronounced 'completed' with great fanfare in 2007; however, we have to liken the National Palace Museum to a sumptuous gourmet banquet made with the finest ingredients, but prepared by a disinterested chef and arranged by colour-blind kitchen staff." Maybe it's true but the place was really good for those who love to see art, historical and culture. Share your feeling with us in the comments below!
